Silver penny of Henry III (1216-1272) short cross coinage, Class 7b (1222-1236). Moneyer: Thomas working at the mint in Canterbury. The upper arm of the initial cross on the reverse is broken making the mark look like the letter T. This gives the inscription a very odd look TTTOM[AS] ON CAN North:979

Silver cut half penny of Henry III, mint possibly London. The coin is worn badly struck and clipped; little detail survives to achieve a satisfactory sub-classification

Silver medieval cut long cross penny of Henry III. Moneyer: Unknown Mint: London (probably). Due to the nature of the cut penny a sub type / class is difficult to identify. However, I feel that this should be best described as a penny of Class III which is dated 1248-50 AD. The reasons for the claisification is the lack of lines on the side of the head indictating a neck, the positioning of the inscription which is rather spread suggesting the Class III which reads HENRICVS REX III, rather than that of class II, HENRICVS REX TERCI. Other indicators to sub classify have been lost.
