A silver unit (coin) of the Dobunnic tribe - most probably an inscribed unit of EISV struck c. AD 20-43?
Obverse: debased head shown in both profile (right) and facing - elements formed from serpentine curls, ring and dots, five pointed stars and single pellets
Reverse: debased triple tailed horse advancing left - arrowhead above - three pellets below. In other examples the coin is inscribed EI above horse and SV below. On this example there is no evidence for these letters.
