Silver penny of Henry III (1216-1272) short cross coinage, Class 7b (1222-1236). Moneyer: Thomas working at the mint in Canterbury. The upper arm of the initial cross on the reverse is broken making the mark look like the letter T. This gives the inscription a very odd look TTTOM[AS] ON CAN
