The coin is worn and abraded; the surface is also pitted. It is now somewhat difficult to read. From what can be seen it is thought to be a silver halfpenny of Henry VIII (1509-1547) struck in London between 1526-1544. The initial mark is probably an arrow although it is indistinct North 1815 Withers: 1Da

A silver cut half penny of Henry III (1216-1272). The coin is worn abraded and incomplete. It is now somewhat difficult to read. From what can be seen it is thought it was struck / minted at Lincoln between 1247 and 1250 - which corresponds with Long Cross coin classes 2a - 3c (II a - IIIa-c).
