A silver Armorican stater of the Coriosolitae (Type II) dated to around 56 BC
Reference: ABC 70
Images of the coin were sent to Dr Philip de Jeresey who writes:
This is an Armorican type stater and it is in fact precisely the same type as the coin illustrated as ABC 70. It's a stater of the Coriosolitae, the final type in the series (rather confusingly known as class II), generally dated to c.56 BC. It has been suggested that this was a confederal Armorican issue, struck by the Coriosolitae on behalf of the coalition of Armorican tribes fighting Caesar. They are the commonest…

Cast silver coin like object of unknown date. The coin is clearly cast with a wide ridge like rim. In shape and broad style it is somewhat similar o the cast potins of the late Iron Age, but is unusual due to it ebing made in silver. On one face is a worn head, whilst the opposite has a horse or possibly horse and rider. The style is naturalistic. It is therefore possible it may be a much more recent gaming token or sport. A direct parralel has not been found but it has been recordedin case it is of a historic age.

Silver toggle or fitting with globular knop on each side. Narrow body expanding at each end into a globule, creating an overall dumb-bell shape. Globules are of un-uniform size.
Copper-alloy and bone examples of similar objects have been dated to the Iron Age, a similar shaped toggle can be found in Read (2005). An Iron Age object of this type is extremely rare.
Analysis results of the toggle show that it is 97% silver the rest being copper, with traces of lead and gold; the amount of gold indicates that this toggle is not of Iron Age date, the manufacturing technique correspond…

Silver unit of the Dobunni tribe, provisionally dated to the late Iron Age 20 BC - 50 AD. The unit is similar to Allens classes I and J.
Philip de-Jersey, of the Celtic coin index has suggested: The coin (CCI 06.0574) is indeed a Dobunnic type along the lines of Van Arsdell 1135 or 1137 (Hobbs 3003-3005). The two types (corresponding to Allen classes I and J) are almost impossible to tell apart - particularly in this condition - and it's debatable in fact whether there is a valid distinction to be made, since elements of the design seem to overlap the two classifications. The datin…
