An incomplete fragment of a much abraded, possibly broken and melted copper alloy coin of possible Roman date. The coin is almost completely indecipherable - being oval in plan and section. On one face is all that remains of a face looking right, whilst the reverse is lost completely. The metal is most like a base metal coin from the period 50-250 AD. The fragment measures 17.1mm length, 15.2mm width, is 6.5mm thick and 5.85 grams

A heavily worn, broken, corroded and eroded coin possibly dating to the later Roman period. All surface detail has been lost and the coin has been broken and rolled in the soil. The coin is a dark green colour with an abraded surface patina. All surface detailing is lost. The coin measures 25.2mm length, is 23.5mm width and 3.4mm thick; it weighs 6.84 grams

A slightly worn and abraded copper alloy coin weight of post medieval (Elizabethan) date, made for weighing the gold crown (possibly of the double rose); which was the equivalent of 5 shillings and weighed 48 grains of Henry VIII and Edward VI (1526-49). The coin weight is uni-faced and square in plan, sub-rectangular in cross section. The design on the front face of the weight is positioned so that weight is aligned on its point, like a diamond. It consists of a centrally positioned double rose, rose within a rose, which is crowned. Both roses are formed from five sets of petals each.…

Cast lead alloy medallion or medal of probable late post medieval date or early modern date (post 1558 - 1850). The medallion is circular in plan with a raised outer border. The medal has been slightly twisted and distorted and the detail decoration on the front face has been removed through a combination of corrosion and abrasion. The reverse is relatively flat and plain although decorative detail may have been lost.
