An uncertain lead alloy artefact of unknown date. The fragment is broadly cylindrical tapering from a rounded bulbous terminal to a narrow point. The lower section seems to have faceted sides and it is 'decorated' in several areas with four incised lines forming a saltire cross. It is possible that this is a scrap piece of lead which has been augmented for no reason by persons unknown. It is a mid grey white colour with an even thick surface patina. A purpose or date cannot be suggested for the piece. It measures: 35.5mm length, 8.2mm wide and 6.8mm thick; it weighs 9.74 grams.

A small silver disc - possibly a coin blank of uncertain date. Although without parallel the disc is recorded due to its findspot. One side is domed whilst the other is very slightly dished. Both sides are marked, but no discernible pattern is present. The finder has commented on the similarity between this and small silver units from the late Iron Age. An incomplete fragment from a cast copper alloy object of uncertain date and function. The artefact consists of a oval sectioned shank terminating in a rounded bulbous knop. In shape it is similar to that seen on post medieval pursebars and seems to be far too robust to be part of a dress pin. The finder has noted similarities to a votive bridle fitting of Roman date ( Mills:1995: 145 ref RB470). A stone spindle whorl probably dating to the later prehistoric to later post medieval date (3000 BC - AD 1700) made of a course sandstone. It is circular in plan and sub-rectangular in cross-section. The object has a regular hour glass shaped pierced hole through the whorl and this is set slightly off centre. The shape of this hole would suggest that it has been achieved by drilling from each side. The object has an even mid-brown patina.
