Incomplete cast copper-alloy scabbard chape of possible late medieval or early post medieval  date c.1450-1550. Sub-rectangular in plan and in section, with  a decorated serrated  ( left side missing) top edge , and sides that taper to a basal rounded knop.  The front of the chape is decorated with two transverse raised ridges. The reverse of the chape is concave, with a lip around its edge;  the back-plate missing.

An incomplete cast copper alloy late medieval "lyre shaped" buckle or strap end dating c. 1350-1450. The plate is integrally cast and hollow with two rivet holes retaining iron alloy rivets ; the front is heavily corroded but decorated, with molded horizontal grooves near the neck, below which is a sub-rectangular area that  contains sections of wrigglework on the left side and possible lettering on the right 'RESS'. The frame is mostly missing and represented by one stump and a transverse ridged collar with central rectangular pin hole.

A complete copper alloy Medieval seal matrix dating from AD 1200- 1400. It is a pedestal type seal with a circular face, and faceted reverse which narrows into the stem terminating in a circular loop which would have served as a suspension loop. The die is decorated with a central squirrel facing right, with a bushy spikey tail. The legend reads * I CRAKE NOT [IS]. Weight - 9g, Height - 27mm, Max diameter of base - 20mm, Max shaft width - 8mm

Early medieval gilded copper alloy mount, of middle early-medieval date (c.700-860).The mount has two flattened square terminals with engraved square borders that contain diagonal cross motifs formed of four raised pointed ovals  .These are connected by a  flat bar with circular silver rivets divided by a shallow groove. The reverse of the terminals each has an integrally cast lug.

Lower Paleolithic flint Cordate (heart-shaped) handaxe of Butler mode 2 type J  dating c. 600,000-300,000 years ago. The handaxe has a light reddish brown colour and a pointed oval section.  Both faces are finished by shallow invasive flaking (soft hammer), with the planar face also having almost continuous finer edge retouch, in places giving a step-flaked edge.There is an imperfection in the flint near the base (a hollow filled with crystals) which has been used to create the notch typically seen on Cordate handaxes.

A Copper-alloy probable harness pendant or mount of Medieval date. The circular disc is decorated in an overall floral design, featuring a central hole surrounded by six raised circular features in relief, each with a small central sunken dimple. These are then surrounded by six larger circular decorations, each separate by rectangular extensions, each ending in another six circular features. The inner surface of the mount is concave and undecorated. The object has a light green patina.

A cast gilded brass fragment from a fob seal, dating from the late 18th – 19th century. This type of seal would have hung from a gentleman’s chain, a chain that was also used for the suspension of a fob watch.The oval setting is attached by four circular points which connect the setting to two oval shaped loops which form the handle.
