A collection of five flints bearing evidence of human modification. The collection consists of five struck flakes including a blade. The remaining flakes are likely waste flakes. The finds have a reasonable patina. The finds are likely to be late Mesolithic or early Neolithic in date.

A copper-alloy mount. The mount is circular in form, with a single attachment lug located centrally on the reverse. The front of the mount is decorated with red enamel. Several curving linears run from a central circle out to the circumference of the disc. These would have likely been decorated with enamel, but this is now lost.    the find is likely a decorative mount, possibly a horse harness fitting.

A copper-alloy seal matrix. It has a sub oval die with engraved intaglio. The design present depicts a horse, galloping, with a rider on its back (facing right on the matrix) The rider is holding a possible spear or pole. There is no inscription present. The handle is ornate with a highly decorated collar. The handle terminates in an oval suspension loop. The matrix is probably post medieval in date.

A lead mount of uncertain date. The mount consists of a pentagon shaped plate with raised decoration on one face. The reverse tapers centrally to a short vertical bar. The raised decoration takes the form of a five-pointed star shape, with a cross bar at each end. In each quadrant created by the star, is a singe raised pellet.

A hollow copper-alloy half of a sphere.   The sphere has several small circular perforations present across the face. It is not possible to identify a function or date for the object. It may have functioned as a bell of some kind or perhaps a decorative button, which would likely date the find to the post medieval period. No comparable examples could be located, and a search of the Historic Environment Record did not provide any clues as to the object’s origin.

An incomplete Roman trumpet brooch. The brooch has a sub-oval flat head which has been truncated, an integral sub-circular loop may have been present beyond this truncation. The reverse would have had two perforated projections which would have held the spring, support bar and pin, however on this find these are missing, although evidence of their existence is present. Five copper alloy Roman coins fused together. The coins are badly corroded and as they are fused together, it is impossible to determine details on most of the individual coins. A single, left facing bust with a spiky radiate crown can be observed on one of the coins. The coins are likely to be 3RD century barbarous radiates dating to AD275-285. Individual coins are roughly 16-17mm diameter and 1mm thickness

A neolithic stone axe roughout. The piece is roughly sub rectangular in form, oval in cross section. From the predominantly flat butt, the sides run parallel before tapering to a rounded end (which if completed would have formed the cutting edge of the axe). Both sides of the roughout are gently convex. Visible flakes have been knapped from the roughout, and the piece resembles the rough shape of an axe, however the find has been discarded prior to completion. A fragment of a cast copper alloy ingot or 'cake' possibly dating from the Bronze Age period. The object is irregular in plan and curved in profile with two smooth faces and a rough uneven inner face were truncated. The outer faces are rough and pitted. This find may date to the Bronze Age, however without further metallurgical analysis of the find, it is difficult to say for certain, and the find could be of more recent date.

Discussion: Due to the condition of the coin, it is difficult to identify conclusively which king is depicted. It possibly dates to the reign of Henry V (1433-22).
