An incomplete  lead alloy pilgrim's souvenir of medieval date (c. 1300-1500). Description: The bell is conical in shape but squashed slightly with a few holes and a section missing. The loop is also incomplete. There are casting seams either side. It is detailed with a thin band around half way that is decorated with lines. The bottom of the bell is bordered with circled pellets separated by small triangles cast similar in style to the band with the same lines. Description:  A complete post-medieval silver cufflink of the 'Crown and Heart' Form 1, Type A style dating to c. A fragment from a London Metropolitan ware dish, dating AD1630-1700. Part of the rim remains, which appears to have been flanged and has a rounded lip along the edge. There is a steep change in form as the rim meets the body of the vessel. There are traces of the slip decoration, which is usually yellow or white, though the colour seems to be no longer visible. It is possible the slip was discoloured through processes in the Thames. The decoration is composed of two wavy lines that overlap, running around the flange. A fragment of a clay pipe, dating AD 1800-1850. All that remains is the ribbed/fluted bowl with part of the stem. The letters I and P on either side of the base, indicating the maker. The object has been stained brown due to having been in the Thames mud, but would have originally been white. The initials on the base might suggest a maker called James P---. A fragment of a Mill Green Ware vessel, dating AD 1270-1350. The fragment is from the body of a vessel, formed from a red ceramic with fine quartz inclusions and sparse mica. It has a heavily reduced core, of a mid-dark grey colour. There is a mid-dark green glaze on one side only. Mill Green Ware was produced in Mill Green, near Ingatestone in Essex. Part of the rim survives, which is often described as hammer headed as it is thicker on the underside (Hurst et al. 1986, 244).The ceramic is a form of German redware, a red-buff colour with sparse sandy inclusions, and was wheel made. there is a brown lead glaze covering the outer edge and the upper surface only, with the underside being entirely unglazed. A whetstone of uncertain date. The object is rectangular in plan and square in section. There are two grooves running down the centre of two opposing sides. The stone is a mid-light grey and slightly irregularly shaped due to wear. Whetstones are incredibly difficult to date and were used throughout history to sharpen metal tools, coming in a variety of different shapes and sizes.
