The object is a complete Edward I penny which has been folded in half (Obverse facing outwards), dating to c. 1272-1307. The obverse features the crowned bust of Edward I, legend around reading EDW REX ANGL' DNS hyB' menaing Edward King of England Lord of Ireland, and cross mintmark. The reverse is not visible, and the inside of the coin is still impacted with some soil. The object weighs 1.4g and is 18.04mm in diameter.

A medieval silver penny of Edward I (1272-1307), Class 4d? (AD), mint: London. Single pellet to the left of the 'E' on Obverse. Ref: The coin is very worn, with a small crescent shaped hole just off centre. Long cross reverse with 3 pellets in each quarter, single pellet to the left of the C on reverse. The coin weighs 1.0g and is 19.37mm in diameter.

Object is complete silver Penny of Edward I (1272-1307) dating to approximately 1279-1307. The obverse features the crowned bust of Edward I within beaded border, legend around, reading EDWAR ANGL DNS HYB (meaning Edward King of England and Lord of Ireland). The reverse features a long cross, with three pellets in each quarter, Legend around reading CIVI TAS LON DON (meaning City of London). The coin is in fine condition with very little wear. It has a diameter of 18.81mm and weighs 1.3g

The coin is in a fair condition but the bust of Edward and some of the legend on the obverse and reverse is illegible. The coin weighs 1.1g and has a diameter of 18.46mm.
