A silver medieval long cross penny of Edward II (AD 1307-1327). Class 11a1, dating to c. AD 1310-1314. North 1060/1. Mint is Canterbury. EDWA R ANGL DNS HYB CIVI/TAS/CAN/TOR It weighs 1.3g and has a diameter of 19.2cm. The surfaces are tarnished. There is a split and crease at 7 o'clock while looking at the obverse side. The edges are slightly wavy so the coin does not lie flat.

A complete, worn Medieval silver long cross penny of Edward II , AD1307-1327. Minted at Durham, likely by Bishop Beaumont, (c.1317-1333), the initial mark is a lion with a lis to one side. The obverse shows the crowned bust facing, with a smaller, flatter crown and spearhead inclined left.
