The object is circular with flat faces a rounded edge and sub-rectangular cross section. In the centre is a circular perforation measuring 9.8mm in diameter encircled by a plain, raised border. A complete lead alloy unifaced token of possibly Medieval to Post Medieval date (AD 1400 to AD 1800). The obverse of the token has a long cross with a pellet in each quadrant incised into the surface. No designs are present on the reverse. Possibly Powell type 14. It measures 20.4 mm in diameter and 3.7 mm thick. It weighs 9.3 g. A fragment of a copper alloy Roman trumpet brooch (c.AD75-175 AD). The fragment comprises the head with a portion of the brooch with an open spring surviving on one side. The face of the brooch has the very worn traces of decoration, including a central ridge connecting to an outer loop with two diagonal recesses. The cone has an incised circumferential groove at the base, straight tapered sides and a curved apex. The stem extends from the middle of the base of the cone at an off-centre angle. The artefact has a flat, round, slightly concave base, with concave, tapering sides and concave apex with two projecting points which are probably broken terminals for a suspension loop.
