An incomplete copper alloy tankard handle of the later Iron Age or early Roman period (BC150-AD100). The object is roughly T shaped with a small section of a loop at its base. The arms of the cross section slant slightly to the centre where there is an incised groove. Near the end of the arms there is a small hole where a pin or nail would have attached the handle to the vessel. The arms are flat on the reverse, curving down to a shaft with a large knop just above the crown of the loop where only part of one side remains. An incomplete copper alloy barrel tap from the Medieval to Post Medieval period (c. AD 1400-1650). The object consists of a socketed circular barrel. The (now missing) key would have fitted into a sub rectangular slot within which the workings of the tap on-off system can be seen.
