A fragment from a copper alloy trigger guard, probably dating to the late Post Medieval period (c. AD1800-1900)
The fragmentary ovbject comprises a rectangular strip of copper alloy of thickness 1.7mm. One end is bent and broken. The other end splits into two - one part bends towards the front of the fitting, the other sharply towards the interior. The interior face is plain, and the exterior face is decorated with two vertical lines running from the top to bottom, and a double lined engraved lozenge containing etched cross-hatching.

An incomplete copper alloy brooch, probably of the postmedieval or modern period, probably 1850 - 1950 AD.
The brooch is formed of two sheet-metal pressed circular plates, one forming a back plate and the other the face. The centre is hollow and contains soil. It is 31.9mm in diameter, 3.6mm thick and weighs 6.0g. The surfaces are rough and brown in colour, with areas of green copper corrosion products. Breaks are old and patinated.

This artefact comprises a broadly circular disc, with a central circular hole and 30 small radial rounded lobes forming a scallopped circumference. The disc has been folded approximately in half through the hole and has cracked along the fold. It has a pale creamy brown surface. The object consists of a partial bar and frame edge. On the side bar, a drilled hole for a spindle is still in place surrounded by a large knop with a fragment of a pale green glass jewel. At the rounded corner is a smaller knop with a larger one at the broken terminal. There are traces of possibly a floral decoration on the edge.

The object consists of a circular spoon like lower disc with a convex face and concave reverse. The dace is decorated with three concentric rings with a large circular central 'boss' at the centre. Above the disc there is a stem which begins with a collar, narrowing to a similar one below a sub rectangular loop at the apex.

A complete copper alloy clog or shoe clasp of the post medieval period (c. AD 1800-1900).
The object is formed of sheet metal which in plan resembles a heraldic shield. The obverse features stamped imagery in relief (now obscured through corrosion). At either end there are two lugs which project at a 90-degree angle and curve beneath the plate, one of which has a semi-circular terminal which would have acted as a catch.
There are many examples of this type of clasp on the database,see NLM-F8F0A3 for a similar shape.

In plan, the object has broadly sunburst shape, with eight radial flicked terminals. The mount features an openwork design comprising a central square and four oval shaped perforations. The upper face of the fastener consists of a central oval plate decorated at the centre with a foliate motif within a plain border.
On the outside edge of the plate are two decorative knops, one on either side. There are three attachment eyes, two either side of the incomplete rectangular loop and one at the opposing end. The end attachment eye is missing.
