Incomplete medieval silver penny of Henry III (1216-1272), dating to 1251-72. Voided long cross Class 5a, minted by Davi at London. North (1980:182). This example has not been clipped, but has nonetheless been damaged, with the portion from the 12 o'clock to around the 4 o'clock position missing. The face of the king is preserved, but much of the inscription is missing as a result. It is 17.66mm in diameter and 0.82mm thick. It weighs 1.19g.
