A complete copper alloy coin weight for a gold noble of medieval date (AD 1412-1464).
The object is a discoidal, uniface weight. The upper surface is decorated with a stamped motif depicting a single masted and standing rigging clinker-built ship (cog) left, with a lis above the fore castle and a lion passant guardant above the after castle. The design indicates it is for the noble or its fractions.
Withers and Withers (1994:19) describe such weights as British and dates them to the 15th or 16th centuries. Its weight suggests it may have been for a full noble of the 15th century…

A Roman Republican silver chariot denarius coin of the moneyers C. Gargonius, Ogulnius and M. Vergilius, dating from c.86BC and minted in Rome.
The obverse shows the head of Apollo wearing a laurel wreath, although abrasion has resulted in the loss of much of the original detail of the head. There is some decoration on the outside edge of the obverse, but no detail is apparent and most of it has worn away.
The reverse depicts the four horse chariot, with some decorative detail on and near the outside edge, but this is now worn away.

The figure is three-dimensional; it has both arms outstretched and raised as though on the cross, with the left leg (as viewed from the front) folded over the right. An incomplete cast copper-alloy spoon, dating to the Roman period c. AD 100-400.
The bowl is incomplete, missing most of the lower portion. It is roughly tear-drop or pear-shaped and is convexed. The base of the bowl retains only 15 mm of the stem, the majority of which is now missing. The stem has a five-sided cross-section and joins the bowl smoothly without a 'rat's tail'. The surface is mostly smooth with some pitting and has a dark brown-green patina with patches of a light green.

An incomplete copper-alloy La Tene III/Nauheim derivative type bow brooch dating to the late Iron Age or early Roman period, from c.100 BC to AD 100.
The bow is triangular in shape and consists of a thin, flat piece of copper alloy. At the head of the brooch at the front the bow extends back, narrowing and curving into a coiled round spring. An incomplete Post medieval cast copper alloy 'pot' leg (Butler, Green & Payne Type C) dating c. AD 1500-1700. Only the lower part of the leg survives. The foot is D-shaped in cross section with an irregular and pitted reverse, the outer surface moulded into three parallel ribs running down its length which widens and projects slightly forward from the collar to the base, resembling a clawed foot. A cast copper-alloy Bronze Age probable spearhead tip fragment, or possibly an arrowhead fragment. The fragment is sub triangular in plan, tapering towards the tip, the extreme end of which is missing. The blade has a triangular centre ridge, being more pronounced on one side. The edges of the blade are worn and the fragment is lightly corroded. The triangular mid-rib suggests a date of 1500-1150 BC.

An incomplete copper-alloy object in the classical style, probably a brooch. It is similar in shape to an insignia of a Roman standard and possibly dates to the 18th or 19th century, when imitations of classical styles were popular. The brooch has evidence of damage at the top, where it was attached to something above it. The front of the brooch is decorated. The reverse is undecorated and plain, apart from a narrow rectangular ridge that runs down the centre of the object from the damaged top, gradually tapering to a cylindrical tip at the base.

The object is a two-dimensional goblet-shape, consisting of an inverted triangle which tapers to a narrower stem, the very end of which has an old break. The attachment spikes on the reverse are complete and still sharp. The object has a brownish patina and a corroded surface which has destroyed clear surface detail.
