A Post-Medieval silver Three halfpence, halfgroat or penny of Elizabeth I (AD 1548-1603). Uncertain intial mark, london mint. The coin has been pierced, drilled from the obverse, behind the bust, with a mark left by initial drilling to the left of this. If a halfgroat, these would be in line with the two pellets behind the bust.
