A postmedieval north devon gravel-tempered pottery fragment from the handle of a skillet. The handle is is rectangular in plan; it has two straight sides lengthways; the end of the handle terminates in a three-sided apex; at the other end it is possible to see where the handle has broken away from the main body of the skillet.
