An incomplete copper alloy cosmetic scoop dating to the post-medieval period, c. AD 1500-1750. The object is formed of a cylindrical shank, which curves to a flattened end, where a break has occurred around what appears to have been a central void. The scoop (at the other end) is shallow and curving, with relatively flattened outer perimeter. There are two grooves in the under surface, approximately 16mm from the scoop and 10mm apart from one another.
