A milled copper-alloy sixpence of George VI, dated 1948. The obverse side has the poorly visible profile outline facing left. The reverse side has the letters GRI, with the I having a short line through the middle. The dome of a crown can be seen above the letters, but not as well defined. The lettering around the edge of the coin on its reverse side is visible but not legible.

A milled silver sixpence of Victoria, dated 1872. The obverse side shows the profile of Queen Victoria and the inscriptions surrounding the edge. The reverse shows the date of the coin at the base and a crown at the top. Decoration includes a laurel wreath and a flower chain, both of which start at the base and curve along the edge, towards the crown.

A milled silver shilling of George V, dated 1922. The obverse impressions are still very clear, with no discernible damage. George V profile surrounded by the inscription GEORGIVS V DEI GRA BRIT OMN REX. The reverse of the coin is of the same quality. A lion can be seen standing on top of a crown with the date on either side.

Fake or modern imitative Anglo Saxon coin. Made of pewter, it weighs 1.55g and has a diameter of 19.45mm. The obverse has a picture of the king, looking left, with crown and sceptre. The legend reads PINCLE DVD REX. The reverse has a short cross with 3 pellets in each quarter and the legend POLFBEARD OF LEMON. (In the Anglo Saxon period a P denoted a W). Who Wolfbeard of Lemon may have been remains a mystery. This fake may be 19th century.
