A almost complete copper-alloy Roman nummus of Constantine I (AD 306-337), dating to the period c.AD 311-313 (Reece period 15). SOLI INVICTO COMITI reverse type depicting Sol standing left raising right hand and holding globe. Mint of Lugdunum (Lyon). RIC VII, p. 122, no. 5. The reverse legend break, SOLI INVI-CTO COMITI, is noted for this type in RIC. There is some damage to the edge of the coin which has obscured part of the legend.
