A Post Medieval copper-alloy coin. The coin is a West Frisian 'duit'. Obverse: 'WEST FRISIA' in two rows and the date 1660 below. Reverse: Crowned arms of West Friesland surrounded by worn inscription which should read 'DEVS FORTI ET SP NOS' (God is our strength and hope).
