A 16th century silver gilt-dress accessory with three recurving hooks with tapering points, and a fourth hook at the top, which recurves to the front of the item to form a loop, perhaps to act as a suspension loop. The body of the item is circular with seven knops around the circumference. Attached to the centre is a sheet silver disc, cut to resemble petals which are reminiscent of a daisy (S. Brown, pers comm). The disc is secured by a central hemispherical silver-gilt rivet, which itself resembles the eye of a daisy. An illustration of a daisy depicted in a similar way can be seen …

A 16th century silver-gilt dress hook; the backplate is trefoilate in shape, with three hemispherical bosses within each lobe. Between each boss is a smaller knop, and a knop is placed at the centre of the item. The outer edge of the plate is decorated with applied filigree ornament and the plate itself is scalloped around the edge. The recurving hook tapers to a point, and is attached to the reverse of the plate by solder. Traces of two points of solder suggest that an attachment loop was also soldered to the reverse.

Copper alloy Roman brooch. The brooch is a disc plate brooch, probably dating to mid first to late second century AD. Six sided. There are six knops around the outer edges, at the points where the edges meet. There is a raised central circular knop. The back is indented in the centre. The catchplate is visible, also the attachment at the top, showing that it was hinged. The pin is missing. The flint is a light-brown honey colour.Both the faces have been carefully knapped so that the axe is regular in shape and section and the surface of the axe has been polished. The tip of the blade is 39mm in width, the width of the axe tapers to 30mm. The axe is broken at one end, and would have originally been longer.

Silver strap-end of Thomas's Class A, Type 1 (Thomas 2003). It has long, slightly convex sides which taper very gently to a rounded terminal. At the split attachment end are two circular rivet holes, and the end here is shaped around these holes and has a central triangular point. The upper half of the split end is complete but the underplate has some edges missing. One iron rivet survives intact. A Medieval copper alloy book clasp of Howsam type A.1.1, with a hinged strap end and solid clasp terminal. The strap end section is formed from folded sheet metal and is broadly rectangular in plan, slightly widening towards the attachment end which is concave. At the attachment end there is a rivet hole in each corner of one of the plates. At the opposite end the plate is bent in half over the hinge back and the corners are recessed to fit the arms of the clasp terminal which go over the ends of the hinge bar. A Medieval copper alloy bar mount, probably dating to the fourteenth century. The mount has a raised central lobe; and two small lobes at each end which have a circular aperture to take a seperate rivet. The reverse is plain and concave; a small part of each of the two copper alloy rivets are still present in the apertures. Similar mounts can be seen in Egan and Pritchard (2002); which have been dated from c.AD 1350 to 1400.

A gilded silver annular brooch, complete with pin. The circular frame of the brooch is in the form of a rope-like plait and is triangular in cross-section. The pin is formed of a cast strip of silver, one end hammered into a pin constriction around the brooch frame. The pin has a vertical band forming a collar and tapers to a point, it is D-shape in section. Traces of gilding are visible across the brooch, it is particularly extensive on the reverse of the pin.
