A post medieval copper alloy jetton of Hanns Krauwinckel II dating to c. AD 1586-1635. Rose/orb type, mint of Nuremberg. Reverse: HEVT RODT MORGEN TODTT (Today red, tomorrow dead). As Mitchiner (1988) no. 1585. The jetton has been pierced at the 12 o'clock position on the obverse right at its perimeter, possibly with a punch. It has also been pierced at the 3 o'clock position, although this piercing appears less orderly. Measurements: 21.3mm diameter, 0.4mm thickness, weight 1.19g
