A possible incomplete early medieval lead alloy brooch, dating to c. AD 1000 - 1100. Possible Weetch type 13. The obverse of the broch is flattened and the outer rim  is decorated with two circumferential bands of pellets, the outer is reversed and the inner raised. There is a single solid band below the boss made of transverse lines. The central boss is flat topped and decorated with remains of a single pellet. The reverse shows the remains of the two attachments, each parallel to the edge of the object.  Diameter 45.33 mm, thickness 4.19 mm and weight 41.83 g.

The decorated surface seems to be emulating a Tudor or Jacobean coin reverse, with a garbled outer legend then within a solid circle a falt topped shield over a long cross, with crosslets in quarters and a raised central pellet. Bottom surface is slightly concave, upper surface rounded. Some asymmetry in thickness. The spindle hole size is compatible with a Roman or Anglo-Saxon date. Surfaces are undecorated and have a dusty white patina. Diameter 28 mm, thickness 13 mm and weight 2.09 g.

It fits into the Walton Rogers classification form B. The central hole is circular with an internal diameter of 8.4 mm. Both faces are flat and undecorated. The whorl has an even white surface patination. Diameter 22.8 mm, thickness 8.0 mm and weight 22.48 g.

A uniface lead alloy token, probably of post medieval date (c. AD 1500 - 1750). The token is decorated with rows of raised pellets, arranged 1, 3 , 5, 3,1. This places it in Powell type 30, which includes groups of pellets. Lead tokens had a wide variety of potential uses such as tallies, gaming pieces, tickets, weights, etc, and are believed to have been locally produced Diameter 25 mm, thickness 1.3 mm and weight 5.35 g.

A complete medieval, lead Papal bulla of Benedict XI (AD 1303 - 1304). The objects is a thick cast lead disc. The obverse depicts the faces of St. Paul and St. Peter within beaded halos, with a cross headed sceptre in between them. Above the faces is the inscription SPA SPE. The whole design is set within a beaded border. The reverse of the bulla has the inscription BEnE/DICTuS/ PP XI. The object has a creamy buff patina, there is an abraded hole at the 12 o'clock position, eroded at the rim to form a U-shaped notch.  Diameter is 36.8 mm, thickness 5.19 mm and weight 37.6 g.

A complete lead alloy rotary key of probable post medieval date (c. AD 1500 - 1700). The key has a circular, D-sectioned openwork bow, 12 mm diameter, sub-rectangular shank, hollow at the end, and a T-shaped bit. There is an incised groove on the shank creating a collar below the bow. The size suggests this was a for a casket or similar locking container. Length 35 mm, width 6 mm, thickness 4 mm and weight 5.3 g.

A complete cast lead alloy shot from a pistol or carbine, probably of post-medieval date (c. AD 1700-1850). The globular shot is well-cast but only partially trimmed, retaining some sprue around the casting seam; this shot, therefore, was probably not fired. The size indicates it was probably for use with a pistol or cavalry carbine, but it could also be used as a buck shot or large game shot. The metal's surface has a mid-grey patina with some very minor scratching and surface pitting. Diameter: 14 mm. and weight: 12 g.
