A fragment of a  medieval ceramic roof or ridge tile, with orange-pink hard powdery fabric and hackly fracture.  The fragment is sub- triangular in form and very thick with little curvature. There is an incised line on one face and the fabric is light grey with no obvious inclusions.  The fabric includes small white inclusions of feldspar and slivers of gray shale and fragments of mica, which may suggest that it is made of Lostwithiel-type ware. A rim sherd of a small jar with rolled rim, made from local gabbroic clay. This sherd is of a Romano-British Trethurgy Type 11 jar dating from the 1st to 3rd centuries AD.  The fabric is a gabbroic (clay that weathers over the gabbro stone on the Lizard) with inclusions of pale feldspar, dark augite and mica. It is patinated dark brown on the outer surface and is decorated with a single grooved, transverse line along the circumference approximately 17.10mm down from the base of the rim. An incomplete Post medieval copper-alloy finger-ring (c. 1500-c. 1700). The hoop is circular with a D- shaped cross section. The square bezel is deep and the setting is missing. Either side of the square bezel are smaller, circular bezels which are also missing their settings. Decoration at the shoulders is in the form of a three incised lines.
