See RIC IX, p.96, no.15c. Obverse shows pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Obverse legend reads [D N VALE]NTINIANVS IVN PF AVG. Reverse fields and exergue read: -//AQPS. Die axis is 6 o'clock, weight is 1.11g, diameter is 18.25mm. This is a find of note: There were no examples of this rare coin in the Hoxne Hoard.

A late fourth century Roman Nummus of the house of Valentinian, possibly Valentinian I - Valens c. AD 364 - 375. The obverse shows a diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust to right. The reverse shows the Emperor standing right, holding labarum, and hand on captive. Possibly a contemporary imitation.
