A silver unit of the East Anglian area, Antedios Antd D-Bar type, dating to c. AD 10-30 (Reece Period 1). See Hobbs 1996, British Iron Age Coins In The British Museum. p.201-205, no.3800-4031; ABC, p. 87, no. 1645.
Reverse shows horse right, three pellets in triangle on shoulder, curved line or 's' below neck, pellet ring above rump, leaf 'e' above back. Three pellets in triangle below body. Inscribed 'ANTED' seen as 'ATD'.
Obverse shows two opposed crescents and two pellets in hexagon crossed by five alternating pellet/plain lines.

An incomplete silver late Iron Age unit of Iceni - East Anglia, Anted or Ecen dating to AD10 - AD40. The obverse shows a double crescents emblem on wreath. The reverse shows an unclear horse right. See Rudd, C. Ancient British Coinage 1645 or 1657.
Diameter is 13.08mm, thickness is 1.80mm and weight is 0.72g.

A contemporary copy (forgery) of a late Iron Age coin of Iceni. c. late 1st century BC - early 1st century AD. The obverse shows 2 opposed crescents and 2 pellets in a hexagon, crossed by 5 alternating pellets / plain lines. The reverse shows a horse to the right above a pellet ring. There is an 'S' below the head, below ligated AEDI, below tail 2 pellets, above tail pellet is a triangle.
