A worked Metapodial bone probably from a sheep or goat. This bone weighs 13.36g, has a length of 91.8mm, and sub-circular maximum diameter of 20.0mm tapering to a point. The bone has been worked to a point and has a smoothed and polished surface. This artefact might have been used in the textile production industry. Date is unknown. A second bone, found within the same field as the worked bone described above, has a weight of 12.55g, length of 108.0mm, maximum width of 24.5mm and maximum thickness of 16.3mm. An incomplete piece of worked quartzite stone identified by Mr John Lord at a public event held in Peterborough Museum on the 16th of July 2010. This worked stone is Palaeolithic in date. Found in the area of a Limestone quarry. One end of the stone has broken off transversely. The tool has a flattened back and three facets to the upper surface. The tool tapers to a rounded point.
