A fragment of a ceramic tile of unknown date, probably Post-Medieval to Modern. This sherd weighs 12.0g, has a thickness of 13.3mm and measures 31.1mm x 23.5mm. This sherd is only slightly abraded. The tile has a reduced, mid to dark grey in colour, core and oxidised, orange in colour, upper and lower surface. The lower surface of the tile is much rougher in texture. There might be slight traces of a white substance on this lower surface, possibly the remains of a mortar.
