A complete copper-alloy strap union of Taylor and Brailsford's (1985) Type 1, dating to the Late Iron Age to early Roman period. The central part of the artefact is comprised of two lunate forms arranged with the concave sides pushed together so as to create a figure-of-eight shape with circular aperture at the centre. The upper surfaces of these lunate forms is convexly curved and undecorated. A Medieval strap-fitting loop mount. This mount weighs 1.02g. It has a rectangular veering to trapezoidal shape and rectangular cross-section. The arms forming the loop have a thickness ranging between 2.2mm and 3.1mm, and a width ranging between 1.3 to 1.8mm.

A copper-alloy Post-Medieval artefact of a type normally described as part of naval uniform or a sword belt fitting. The decoration on this artefact should be compared to that seen on the rapier knuckle guard recorded in PAS record CAM-F5F949 that has been dated to the 18th century AD. However, this type of strap-fitting is often assigned a 17th to 18th century AD date.

It has a flat sub-trapezoidal body with a shaped lower edge and integral suspension loop protruding from the middle of the upper edge. A complete early Post-Medieval copper-alloy sword belt fitting. This is a type 1 toggle clasp or sword belt fitting dating to c.16th century. The fitting is decorated with moulded relief and openwork.
The plate has a central circular aperture of 6.0mm on the upper surface with bevelled edges that reduce the diameter at the rear surface to 3.6mm. The sides of the artefact, to either side of the central aperture, give the object a width of 13.9mm and form three short transverse projecting prongs.

An incomplete fragment from a Post-Medieval copper-alloy strap fitting, one part of a sword belt fitting. This is part of an eye half and would have partnered with a now missing toggle half. This eye component would originally have had a central eye loop from which projected an off-set smaller loop and, now missing attachment plate mount.

This late Iron Age to early Roman copper-alloy symmetrical strap fitting weighs 22.48g. At the centre of the mount is circular loop, convex on one side and concave on the other. This loop has an external diameter of 18.5mm width and 18.1mm length with a thickness of 6.8mm. The center of this loop has a diameter of 7.1mm. A copper-alloy strap-loop, with integral rivet, of Medieval date, c.AD 1350-1400. This artefact weighs 0.53g, has a rectangular cross-section, thickness of 1.6mm and is sub-rectangular in shape. The artefact has a width of 10.8mm and height of 9.7mm. The loop aperture measures 7.8mm x 6.3mm. A rectangular to oval cross-sectioned (2.5mm x 1.5mm) integral rivet projects out from the centre of one side, on the external edge. The end of this rivet is very worn and it is uncertain whether this is the original extent of the rivet. Total height including loop and integral rivet is 12.0mm.

An incomplete copper-alloy artefact, probably a strap fitting of 'strap loop without rivets' type dating to the Medieval period, c.AD1150 - 1400. Only the moulded leading edge of the loop and a very short length of one of the side arms survive. This fragment weighs 6.26g.

The two parallel sides have a length of 13.2mm and 9.9mm. The two non-parallel sides have a length of 10.8mm. An oval cross-sectioned (2.5mm x 2.0mm) integral rivet projects out from the centre of the shorter parallel side, on the external edge, to a length of 2.9mm. The artefact weighs 3.08g, has a length of 52.7mm and is a slightly tadpole shaped elongated rectangle with rounded corners and tapering at one end. The maximum width is 10.0mm tapering to 5.8mm. An incomplete copper-alloy pendant strap fitting from a sword belt of early Post-Medieval date. Weight is 8.85g, length is 47.0mm, maximum width is 27.9mm and the thickness of the plate is 1.5mm.
The plate is flat with rounded edges. The front surface is decorated in relief within a raised border and the reverse surface is plain. The relief decoration consists of perhaps three symmetrical plant motifs.

An incomplete fragment of a copper-alloy post-medieval eye section from a two-part toggle clasp, from a sword belt (AD c.1500-c.1700). Not enough of the clasp survives for identification, at classification level, to be possible.
This fragment is from the eye-section and the artefact has broken across the rivet hole nearest to the eye. The eye survives and the plate is missing. The rivet hole has a diameter of c. 2.3mm. This fragment weighs 29.86g, has a width of 11.5mm with an area of decoration projecting out on both edges from one surface which increases the width to 14.3mm. A cast copper-alloy zoomorphic strap fitting in the form an 'S' shaped snake of early Post-Medieval to Modern date. This strap fitting would have been used as a belt fastener or buckle. Both sides of the snake clearly depict the mouth and eyes. A raised line runs along the centre of the body from outer edge of each eye to the tip of the tail. From this line regular, relatively close set, lines come off at approximately 90 degrees extending to the edge of both back and belly along the entire length of the snake.

A copper-alloy 'S' shaped belt hook of Post-Medieval to Modern date. Moulded decoration is present on both sides of teh oval cross-sectioned belt fitting. Both terminals are in the form of a beast's head although snake heads are the more common zooamorphic form on this type of belt hook. At the mid point there is a decorative swelling of the cross-section with decorative foliate moulding above and below. Dimensions: weight 6.63g, length 30.13mm, width 16.39mm, thickness 4.42mm. The strap fitting is composed of 2 'eye' forms (characteristic of the Iron Age) which create a double-lozenge shape in plan view. The 'eyes' take the form of prominent domes within a sunken circular field. The diameter of each 'eye' is approximately 8.3mm. The outside edge of both 'eyes' tapers to a point.
