An incomplete copper-alloy artefact. This is probably a pendant of Roman date, c.2nd to 3rd century AD. See Nicolay 2007, pp.55-57 & 401, pl.90, nos.248.3 & 111.7, 'Round, oval and tear-shaped pendant type'. This artefact weighs 2.90g. The proximal end, assumed to have originally terminated with a complete suspension loop is missing due to an irregular break. A copper-alloy pendant, probably of Roman date. This artefact weighs 6.93g and has a maximum length of 32.7mm. It consists of a suspension loop, below which is a vertical shaft. Directly below the suspension loop two lateral projections, on opposing sides of the shaft, have an angle of c. 90 degrees adjacent to the suspension loop. An incomplete copper-alloy pendant of Roman date. The artefact consists of an elongated heart-shaped body, which has a worn break across the lower end and, now incomplete, integral attachment loop positioned at the centre of the upper edge. The attachment loop projects both forwards and rearwards from the central plane of the pendant body, to a maximum thickness of 8.8mm. Description: Gold bulla pendant made from a single piece of gold sheet cut into two discs with a connecting strip 5.6mm wide. Each disc has been given a domed centre and a narrow flat border, and the strip has been bent to form a double-sided pendant with suspension loop. The borders of the two halves have been pressed and perhaps soldered together but there is no further decoration added to the edge. A sub-circular silver disc of Medieval date,probably from a reliquary pendant. The sub-circular disc has a maximum diameter of 20.41mm and the edges curve over backwards. The disc is flat with a thickness of 0.64mm. The surface is decorated with the engraved letters ihc on a background of diagonal incised lines, pointing top left to bottom right. The surface of the letters are smooth and undecorated as is a narrow border at the edge of the disc c.1.11mm wide. A cast copper-alloy pendant of uncertain function, probably dating from the post-Medieval period. The object has a biconical head with moulded rib around the centre and at the top of the shank. The top of the head is decorated with closely set, oblique grooves. The shank is short and has a rectangular cross section (13mm wide) with a circular perforation (diameter 1mm) in a rounded terminal. Length 25.8mm, width of shank 2.34mm, diameter 10.95mm and weight 3.4g.

A copper alloy pendant, possibly medieval in date. The pendant is flat and leaf shaped. The upper surface of the pendant is crudely incised with two diagonal lines with horizontal hatching between. At one end, there extends a circular suspension loop with circular perforation. At the other, on the underside of the pendant, there extends a small circular section lug. The pendant measures 38mm in length and 18mm in width.
