A Post-Medieval buckle frame, pin missing, dating to c.AD 1620-1680. This is a form of buckle described by Whitehead, R. as a double loop trapezoidal buckle with moulded decoration on the loops. See Whitehead, R. 2003, p.84. This buckle frame weighs 6.28g, has a length of 26.9mm, maximum width of 38.7mm and thickness of 2.5mm. The frame's cross-section is trapezoidal being slightly greater in measurement on the reverse surface than the front. The central integral pin-bar measures 2.4mm on the length axis. A cast and turned copper-alloy candle holder of late Medieval to early Post-Medieval date. Only the integral hollow stick and socket survive, the separate base is missing. This upper part of the artefact weighs 66.15g and has a height of 113.5mm. This style of candle holder is often referred to as a 'Bunsen burner' type due to its straight stem and straight sided socket. A worn, slightly bent, cast copper alloy buckle, probably of Medieval date. It comprises a sub-rectangular frame divided by a narrow central bar, which creates two symmetrical oval-shaped loops. An incomplete white metal, probably silver, Roman finger-ring. The finger-ring hoop has a sub-circular profile and is complete except for the setting being lost from the bezel. Weight is 1.83g. The height of the hoop is 17.0mm which increases to 19.6mm to the top rim of the bezel collar.
