Fragment of Roman silver finger ring. Solid cast, ovular and swelling profile, flattened bezel. Only one shoulder and part of hoop and just less than half of an oval bezel setting remain. The original stone is missing. Surviving d.: 15.5mm Surviving w.: 12.1mm Date: 2nd to 3rd century AD Note: this item is made substantially of silver and is more than 300 years old, and thus qualifies as treasure as stipulated in the Treasure Act 1996.

Silver-gilt mount, basically triangular form with two leaf-shaped elements along one edge meeting at a point; pierced design with two openings, the larger one apparently for attachment to another to form a clasp. Ridged bar below. On the back two studs for attachment to textile or leather. The form of this mount or fitting suggests it may have been part of a clasp of which one piece is now missing. Recovered (on the advice of English Heritage) during an archaeological evaluation undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology Ltd. Description - At least two vessels of very similar form but of different sizes. In addition, running beneath the larger bowl is a large iron object with a rounded terminal.
