A gold, short length of octagonal-sectioned rod (Length 19mm; diameter 9mm; weight 17g.), broken at each end. While ornaments made from octagonal-sectioned rod are known in the Bronze Age, there is insufficient evidence to place this piece chronologically or culturally. This object was reported as possible Treasure under the Treasure Act 1996, and subsequently declared not to be treasure.
