A fragment of an iron object with an applied copper-alloy fitting, possibly an element of a vessel dating to the Roman period. The copper-alloy fitting is embedded in a slightly convex iron sheet. On the upper surface, the fitting is circular in plan and hemispherical in section, with two tongue-shaped extensions. On the underside, the fact that the fitting is hollow is apparent. The copper-alloy fitting measures 13mm in length, 37mm in width and 22mm in height. The iron object has a length of 14mm.
