A fragment of pipe-clay figurine, probably depicting a horse and dating to the first to third century AD. The fragment shows one half of the belly and the upper part of the rear leg of a quadruped, most likely a horse. The stump of the tail is visible. There is a circular ventilation hole on the underside between the leg and the underside of the stomach. There is a finger smear mark on the interior surface. The fabric is yellowish-white in colour and relatively worn. The figurine has a length of 62.4mm, a width of 39.1mm and a maximum thickness of 17.7mm. The figurine weighs 25.1 gram…

An incomplete, ceramic object, probably a spindle whorl dating to the Roman period. The spindle whorl is fashioned from a sherd of black-burnished ware (?). It comprises an approximately flat, semi-circular piece of pottery with a central perforation. It is clear that the object has been broken in half. The fragment measures 38mm in diameter and 6mm in thickness. The perforation is 7mm in diameter. The object weighs 8.30 grams.

The object is approximately rectangular in plan with one wall extending beyond the rectangular shape at one corner. Another corner is either damaged or worn to a 45 degree angle. The centre of the object has a square-shaped perforation extending to the bottom surface in which there are five small circular perforations, possibly for ventilation.
