A copper-alloy Roman radiate of Carausius, dating to the period c.AD 286-93 (Reece period 14). PAX AVG reverse type, depicting Moneta left with scales and cornucopia. Unattributed to a specific mint. As SF-936716; RIC V, vol.II, p. 537, cf. no. 920. A number of Moneta types with a PAX AVG inscription have been noted. This coin is included in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.
