An incomplete copper-alloy bell-shaped stud dating to the Roman period of Allason-Jones' Type 2 (Allason-Jones 1985). The plate is plain and dish-shaped with a central raised conical knob. The body of the stud is cylindrical but thin, with two moulded bands. The shaft, which is broken, is rectangular in section. The stud has a length of 26.9mm, 27.4mm in diameter and weighs 34.1 grams. From the bottom of this extended a bent circular-section shaft that is broken at the end. There is a small incision on one side where the head meets the shaft. The object has a length of 65mm. The head has a width of 17mm and a thickness of 1.4mm. The circular perforation has a diameter of 6mm. The stem has a diameter of 5mm. The object weighs 13 grams. A similar object comes from the site: BM-1029F4.

A complete copper-alloy ring of unknown date. The band is oval in section. Attached to the ring is a lug consisting of a sub-spherical head with circular perforation through which the ring passes. The base of the lug is flat and circular, with a circular perforation that joins with the other perforations inside of the lug. The ring has an external diameter of 28.5mm, an internal diameter of 22.1mm and a thickness of 3.2mm. The lug measures 9.9mm in length and is 8.7mm in diameter at the base. The entire object weighs 8 grams.

A worn fragment of a copper-alloy drop-handle dating to the Roman period. The fragment comprises a portion of a circular-section bar which has been bent to form an open loop at one end. At the loop end, the bar terminates in a spherical knop. The other end is broken. The loop shows signs of wear. The handle has a surviving length of 37mm and a width of 18.7. It weighs 7.3 grams. Drop-handles were fitted to a variety of items in the Roman period, from small wooden boxes or drawers to large chests (Crummy 1983, 80). Compare with No. 2132 from Colchester (Crummy 1983, 81-82 and Fig. 85).

The chain has a length of 137mm, a maximum width of 40mm and weighs 41.2 grams.

The very end of the stem is hammered flat. The length of the stud is 17.4mm, the diameter is 12.4mm and the weight is 3.4 grams.

The apex of the stud terminates in a rounded knop beyond a circumferential rectangular collar. The circumference of the stud is decorated with incised notches. The interior of the stud is filled with lead-alloy and there is a rectangular perforation filled with iron corrosion products. The height of the fitting is 20.8mm, with a diameter of 26mm and a weight of 18.6 grams.
