An incomplete lead Medieval papal bulla of Pope Urban V, dating to AD 1362-1370.
Only 50% of the bulla is present with the right-hand side of the text.
The front of the bulla shows the name of the pope with his abbreviated title: PP: Pastor Pastorum - Shepherd of Shepherds - and ordinal number V. This is placed in three lines. As only 50% of the bulla is present only the latter half of the text is present
[UR]B / [AN]VS / [PP] V. This is placed within a border of pellets.
The reverse when complete would have depicted the faces of both Saints Peter and Paul. Over…
