An incomplete cast copper-alloy, conical mount of uncertain date. The mount has a circumferential flange around the base which probably had rivet hols in for attachment but these cannot be identified in the mount's condition. The peak of the dome has a sub-rectangular hole through it - possibly for a rivet (similar to those seen in post-medieval furniture mounts), or is may be damage. The mount has suffered some corrosion and although the patina suggests a Roman date, it could equally be of post-medieval date.

An incomplete copper alloy strap fitting or mount of probable Medieval date. The fitting is rectangular in plan with a moulded furled edge. The inner section of the plate is flat but has a holes of various sizes drilled through the plate. The function of these holes is uncertain but do not seem decorative. There may have been a back-plate to this object and some of these holes may be for rivets (now missing) and possibly for a buckle pin.

A cast lead alloy mount in the form of a flower. The flower head is plano-convex and deeply moulded; on the reverse of the flower head is a short neck which then expands into a broadly circular shaped, uneven disc-shaped plate. These objects have been classed as Roman military belt / harness mounts but many have been proven to be post-medieval tobacco or tea caddy or tea pot lid handles. As it is made of a lead alloy it is far more likely to be a post-medieval handle rather than a Roman fitting.

A cast copper alloy mount or strap fitting, possibly for a piece of furniture or alternatively for a horse harness, dating to the post-medieval period. The mount is in the form of a 'Tudor' rose, with small trefoil tabs projecting from the curve between each rose petal. A large centrral hole, drilled through the decoration, would have held a securing rivet and is the only form of attachement for the mount. Although so-called Tudor roses are often attributed to the 16th century, the form remained in use after this period and this object is likely to be of 17th or even 18th century date.
