A copper alloy annular ring, probably a harness ring, of uncertain date, Medieval to Post-medieval, AD 1100 - 1800. It is flat and sub-hexagonal in section with the inner edge worn. The hoop varies in width and some filemarks are visible. The diameter is 26.0mm, thickness is 3.0mm, and weight is 3.9g These are very common finds and may have had a variety of uses. An incomplete copper alloy double loop buckle dating to about  AD 1550-1650. One loop is missing. There are two projecting knops on the outer edge of the bevelled loop of the buckle.  There are two stubs on either side of the pin bar where the other loop would have been attached. There is a knop at each end of the pin bar. The pin bar is rectangular in profile. The reverse is flat. The measurements are; length 19.4mm, width 15.1mm, thickness 3.3mm, and weight 2.82g. A copper alloy late Bronze Age socketed axehead dating from about 1140 BC - 1000 BC. It is a type Fulford socketed axe. The axe is sub-rectangular in plan and wedge-shaped in cross-section. It has a square socket with a moulded triple collar, wider at the top. The sides expand slightly, and then curve at the tips. A lead Early Medieval spindle whorl, dating from about AD 500 - 850. It is of Walton Rogers form A1. The spindle whorl is sub-conical in form, with one flat face and one face with one rounded and one angled side.  The measurements are; diameter 26.0mm, thickness 13.8mm, and weight 45.29g.  The central hole has a diameter of 8.5mm. Form A1 whorls are dated by Walton Rogers to AD 500 - 1000. Those with a central perforation of 6-9mm are more likely to be early to mid Saxon, AD 500 - 850.

A cast lead spindle whorl of Walton Rogers form B1 dating from the Early Medieval to medieval period, about AD 850 - 1200. The whorl has two flat faces and a large central aperture of 11.6mm. The measurements are; diameter 27.6mm, thickness 7.3mm, and weight 31.62g. The object is undecorated and has a light grey patina. Similar examples can the found on the database see SWYOR-B413FF. Walton Rogers dates form B1 from AD 700 in York to 1200. A large central perforation makes a date from AD 850 onwards more likely.

A small, cast lead spindle whorl of Walton Rogers formB1, probably dating from the Early Medieval period, about AD 700 - 850. It is discoid in form, flat at the base, and with vertical sides rising to a flat upper surface. There are no markings. There is a central, circular perforation with an internal diameter of  6.4mm. A fragment of a cast copper alloy annular brooch of Medieval date, AD 1200 - 1400. The circular, frame is incomplete and only a section with three equally spaced tall circular collats remain. The collats would have been settings for gems; they retain traces of a white substance, probably the setting medium for the stones but the stones themselves are now missing. A cast copper-alloy single loop trapezoidal buckle dating from the Medieval period (about AD 1250-1400). The buckle frame has an expanded outer edge which is angled. The sides are similar but not as wide. There are lobed knops on the front corners and a narrowed strap bar with slight knops at each end. The pin and plate are missing.  Measurements Length 15.5mm, width 23.8mm, thickness 4.2mm and weight 2.9g. Compare BH-56C9A8.
