A complete Medieval silver applied bezel finger ring, dating to c. Ad 1400-1500. The hoop of the ring is sub circular and made of two strands of twisted silver wire with a separate bezel soldered to the hoop. The bezel is in the form of a heart flanked on each side by a single four petalled flower which is connected to the heart by a curved stem. Although in good condition, the workmanship is quite crude. It is a single disc of silver with turned down edge, and with a rectangular loop soldered onto the underside. The upper surface has a bulbous raised area at the top of the 'triangle' which gradually flattens out towards the opposite end. A fragment of Post Medieval stone pillar capital, dating to c. AD 1550-1700. The find part of a circular ribbed capital with a flat base.  Above the ribbing is a circular band and at the top of the capital there appears to be a layer of cement with a small, flat sherd of slate which has become stuck in the mixture. One end is complete and flat, the other is slightly twisted and was probably broken by hammering a dent and breaking it across the thinnest place.
