Part of the top of the suspension loop is missing due to an old break, with only the two lugs and part of the crossbar remaining. The upper and lower hemisphere of the bell is divided by a prominent rib. At either side of the suspension loop (about half way down the side of the upper hemisphere) is a sound hole which is 5mm in diameter, although one is smaller due to corrosion products obscuring the aperture. The buckle frame has moulded and incised trefoil decoration on the outer edge of each loop and at end end of the strap bar. Part of the outer edge of one loop is missing due to an old break. The pin is also missing. Traces of rust on the buckle suggest the pin was made of iron.  Dimensions: length: 27.6mm; width: 39.9mm; thickness: 2.8mm; weight: 3.63g.
