Object is a copper alloy decorative mount of unknown date. The mount is oval in shape, with one end slightly broken and has an openwork design. The design features 10 teardrop cut out shapes which radiate out from the slightly broken end towards the more rounded end. There are 5 circular shaped holes, 4 around the edge of the object, and one in the centre of the smaller teardrop shapes, possible used for affixing. The object has green and brown patina and has a worn surface and edges. The object weighs 10.8g with a width of 41.91mm and length of 39.59mm, and thickness of 2.67mm.

The object has a dark grey/blackish patina, and shows some signs of orangy corrision. It has suffered damage and all edges are worn and/or broken. It appears that it may have once fixed into another object and this is where the corrosion seems the most prevelant. The obverse of the object is flat but with a raised rim around the circumference with possible human figure visible holding a long stick, there is a pierced hole at approx 1 o'clock (from obverse to reverse) which may have been used to attach the seal with string.
