A complete cast copper alloy seal matrix of post Medieval date. The handle is waisted, with a conical base and expands into an openwork trefoil terminal comprised of four loops, with a larger suspension loop over a transverse row of three, the central having a solid centre. The dieface is oval, 14mm in length and appears to be blank or is too corroded to retain any trace of an original design. The handle has been bent.

The die face is 16.5mm in diameter and depicts a tonsured male cleric's head, left, with legend +S'IOhIS DE SCAMAR(D), suggesting a personal seal for a John of (?). The handle is fluted with hexagonal cross section and concave sides; it has broken near the base.

A lead alloy discoidal personal seal matrix for a woman, dating to the 13th century. The die face is 25.9mm in diameter and depicts an eight pointed star or flower with oval rays or petals and with surrounding legend reading S'MATILDIS LE [...](ANNV)R, or "seal of Matilda the [occupational surname]". The reverse is flat with a rectangular stump of a suspension loop at the top of the midline.

A small cast copper alloy medieval (c. 14th century) seal matrix. The handle has fluted sides with six facets and tapers to a rounded suspension loop with a small ridged collar beneath. The dieface is hexagonal, 14.3mm across and heavily corroded. The central device is deeply incised and broadly triangular but unclear, perhaps a facing beast head (c.f HAMP-438EE2) or a small shield. The surrounding legend may read IE SV (SE)(L) DE A. If the abbreviation can be expanded to Je Su Sel de A(mour), then the legends translates as "I am a seal of love".

A Medieval cast lead alloy oval / vesica shaped personal seal matrix, 30.9mm in length which has broken in half. Both portions are retained. The die face has a four-armed star or cross with a now mostly illegible surrounding legend +S(IGIL):IOhIS:W(LN)[...]M or "seal of John [...]". The reverse has a moulded fleur-de-lys point downwards from an integrally cast suspension lug, which has now broken off.

An incomplete cast copper alloy medieval seal matrix. The handle was fluted with a hexagonal cross section (around 4mm in width) and has mostly been lost to an old break. The die is heater shield shaped, 17.2mm in length and depicts a stag's head (caboshed) with a cross between the antlers, surrounded by a beaded border with outer legend / motto reading IESMVS MERCI probably to be read as 'thanks [be to] Jesus'.

A cast copper alloy Seal Matrix of Medieval date (AD 1300-1400). The matrix has a hexagonally faceted conical handle which tapers before expanding to form a perforated trefoil loop, 7.5mm wide, with a ridged collar. The die face is circular, 14.8mm in diameter and depicts a quatrefoil with an unclear legend, most likely (I)E SV S(EL D AO), to be read as a contraction of "je su sel d'amour" (I am a seal of love). A small, worn and incomplete post medieval (c18th century) seal matrix made from a tin-rich copper alloy or possibly pewter. The die face is oval, 16.6mm in length and depicts an oval shield with scrolled garniture around it with unclear device, possibly containing a party per chevron and a number of charges, possibly bezants. The reverse is flat with a casting seam and a stump of a handle with a narrow sub rounded stem; this is located off centre towards one end.

A medieval cast copper alloy personal seal matrix of pointed oval or "vesica" shape, dating to the 13th century. The die face has a central motif of a cross with three rays in each quarter, presenting as a 16 armed star. The surrounding legend, in lombardic lettering, reads + S'ALICIE : (LE?) OChE : pellet-in-crescent : star, reading as Sigillum (seal of) Alice le Oche. The sides of the die are angled towards the rear of the die which is flat and undecorated. A large rounded suspension loop projects from the top end, angled perpendicular to the plane of the die.

A late medieval cast copper alloy seal matrix with a fluted six-sided handle which terminates in a collar and a pointed suspension loop 5.2mm wide. The die is circular and around 14.43mm in diameter; part of one side is missing. The die depicts a wheatsheaf flanked by two unclear forms with tapering and curled bases, possibly cornucopiae, all contained within a beaded border. There is no legend.
The device perhaps suggests that the seal was the property of a baker, miller or merchant.

A Georgian fob seal matrix with a rectangular brown glass intaglio depicting a robed, standing female figure with long hair, holding in the left hand a staff with a trefoil terminal and in the right, an uncertain object, possibly a bouquet of flowers. The intaglio is held in a copper alloy body with a pyramidal reverse tapering to a handle formed of a pair of S-shaped arms which join at a pointed suspension loop infilled with remains of a rusted iron ring. Traces of gilding remain.

A fob seal matrix of later 18th or 19th century date, missing its handle. The matrix is rectangular, 14.1mm in length and holds a flat yellow-green glass die inscribed with the legend ABSENT / BUT NOT / FORGOTTON in seriffed Roman capitals. This glass is held in a pyramid shaped copper alloy body, with four facets decorated with scrolls in relief. The stump of the suspension loop appears to be separately made and functioned as a pivot, suggesting the seal was held on the end of a watch chain.

The matrix is mounted on a ring with a small oval collar, 5.6mm in length. The ring is itself has an oval cross section and is now bent and broken. Originally this may have been part of a combination pipe tamper seal matrix and tool of 17th century date such as SUR-8B226F.

A complete cast copper alloy four arm cruciform seal matrix of post medieval (c. 17th century) date. Four arms radiate equidistant from a rectangular central block of 10.2mm width with a drilled mounting hole at the centre of 3.4mm internal diameter, the inside of which has a screw thread. Each arm has been waisted with contraction before and then expanding outwards to terminate in a circular die face; these range in diameter from 12.4mm to 13.3mm.

A complete cast copper alloy medieval seal matirx. The die is flat, circular and 18.8mm in diameter. It depicts a six pointed star comprised of two intertwined squares at the centre of which is a simplified representation of the hill of Calvary with a cross at the apex and the IhS Christogram beneath. To the left of the cross on the hill is a crescent moon, to the right a small star. Spaced between the exterior points of the intertwined star is the legend SALVATOR (latin for savior). The reverse has a tapering midrib with a rounded suspension loop which projects from the top.
