A cast lead alloy fragment from an 18th century fire mark. The fragment is 26.76mm in length and depicts a royal orb with a large cross above. The cross has three triangular arms with a central pellet between. The orb is bisected by two perpendicular raised bands. The lower portion of the object terminates in an old break across the base of the orb and the reverse is concave with no evidence of fittings. Comparisons with other examples (e.g. HAMP-7AC4D7) would suggest that this fragment was from the apex of a crown.
