A complete late Medieval or early Post-Medieval copper alloy finger ring with seal matrix bezel, dating from AD 1400-1600. The hoop is circular and D-shaped in cross-section, and the bezel is octagonal in plan, and hexagonal in cross-section. The seal is comprised of the letters 'RB' within an incised octagonal border. The ring weighs 5.58g and is 27.6mm in diameter, while the hoop measures 2.7mm in thickness and 4.4mm in width. The bezel is 12.1mm long, 15.6mm wide, and 2.8mm thick. A probably Medieval copper alloy single looped buckle, probably dating to c. AD 1100-1250. The frame is D-shaped and internally beveled, with a thick convex outer edge. This is decorated with alternating thick and narrow raised ribs, the latter having transverse grooves to create a corded effect. A complete late medieval gold iconographic finger ring, with an oval-shaped bezel incised with a design of St Christopher carrying the Christ Child Jesus on his back across a river while gripping a staff. A Post-Medieval copper alloy pot foot, of Butler, Green and Payne's type C, probably dating to c. AD 1500-1700. The foot is sub-rectangular in plan and plano-convex in cross section. The inside face is flat and plain. Dimensions: Length 26.1mm; width 23.7mm; thickness 12.4mm; weight: 24.63g. Butler, Green & Payne (2009) classify such legs as their type C, in use by the 16th century and ubiquitous by the 17th.

A corroded Post Medieval iron 'key-hole' type horseshoe, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1900. The horseshoe is U-shaped in plan and slightly bevelled in cross section with a key-hole shaped perforation in the centre. The arms curve inwards and end in sub-rectangular terminals to create the key-hole shape. Only one nail hole is visible through the corrosion, as well as the remains of a corroded rivet. Dimensions: Length 138.2mm; width 132mm; thickness 11.7mm; The object weighs 436g. cf. similar objects on this database, e.g. DEV-5B5583, LANCUM-094174.
