A Roman copper alloy nail cleaner-strap end dating to c. AD 250-410. The nail cleaner consists of a piriform blade 34.9mm long, which widens to 11.8mm at its rounded shoulders, then narrows down to 5.5 mm before it terminates in a 5.8mm wide split end.
